Our covered slipway can accommodate most vessels on the river anything up to 13 feet wide and up to 35 Tonnes. We jet wash and clean hulls ready for your surveyor. We can give you details of surveyors that will carry out, surveys for you. Our slipway charges include up to a week on the slipway in case work is required before returning your boat to the water. As well as the slipway we have a crane for smaller vessels. We can also arrange boat safety certificates for you.
We are blacking boat hulls most days of the week. We jet wash and scrape, then apply 3 coats of general purpose blacking that fully complies with current legislation. Should we see any sign of electrolysis on your boat we will contact you to inform you of this and invite you to come along to inspect your vessel before we commence applying the new coating. Subject to your agreement we will coat the hull with Vactan rust proofer before blacking. It’s a great product that will stop the new blacking from peeling where electrolysis is apparent.
Here at the 4 All Marine boat yard we offer both dry and wet shot blasting which removes mill scale, epoxy paint systems and takes the hull back to metal ready to accept a new coating of two pack epoxy that will last much longer than conventional blacking. Whilst a little more expensive, it will pay back, extending the time between re-coating. Many narrowboats on our rivers and canals currently have coatings that will not comply with new regulations so will need to have their coating removed by shot blasting at some time in the future. Why not let 4 All Marine estimate the cost to your boat with no obligation.
